District Vehicle Use

District vehicles are available for approved activities such as athletic events, field trips, visiting other colleges, and other District related business. 

How to Request a District Vehicle

  • First-Come, First-Served: Vehicle requests are processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Mileage Limit: Vehicles are available for trips of up to 100 miles one-way.
  • Plan Ahead: Submit your request at least two weeks before your trip.
  • Return Same Day: Vehicles must be returned the same day they are used; they cannot be kept overnight.
  • Seats: Please do not remove seats from the vans.
  • Transportation Request Form: A signed form from your department manager or Dean is required.

Driver Requirements

  • Drivers must be 18 years or older, hold a valid California Driver’s License, and receive District approval before operating a District vehicle.
