Drawing & Painting
Ada Pullini Brown, M.F.A., is a painter and art educator. Educated at the University of Houston (M.F.A.), Queens College of the City University of New York (B.A), Sarah Lawrence College and the High School of Art & Design, Ms Brown is currently an Associate Professor of Painting & Drawing at Rio Hondo College, she is also the director of ArTravel Workshops, a landscape painting summer program for artists which has taken groups of painters and watercolorists to Europe for the last 18 summers. In the Los Angeles area Ms. Brown’s paintings have been exhibited at the Riverside Art Museum, Rancho Santiago College, Venice Art Walk, I-5 Gallery, Gallery Otra Vez, Avenue 50 Gallery and the Sabina Lee Gallery. Her work is held in collections in the United States, South Africa, Mexico and Europe. Ms. Brown is a former President of the Southern California Women’s Caucus for Art and currently serves on the board of the Brewery Artwalk Association. She teaches courses in beginning, intermediate and advanced Freehand Drawing, Life Drawing and Painting.
Painting & Drawing
Margaret Griffith is a full time Associate Professor of Drawing and Painting, teaching all levels of freehand drawing and painting at Rio Hondo College. She received her M.F.A. degree in Sculpture from Cranbrook Academy of Art in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan and her B.F.A. degree in Painting from The Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore, Maryland. Professionally Margaret actively exhibits her drawings and paintings throughout California and the United States. Her work has been featured in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Los Angeles, Santa Monica, Sacramento, Boston and Baltimore. She is currently represented by Ruth Bachofner Gallery in Santa Monica, California.
Design and Drawing
Ron Reeder is an instructor of Two Dimensional and Three Dimensional Design with a MA and BA degree from CSUF in Drawing and Painting. He is currently teaching: Art 120 Two Dimensional Design, Art 121 Three Dimensional Design, Art 130 Beginning Drawing and Art 131 Intermediate Drawing. His personal work incorporates drawing, painting, and sculptural elements and deals with social issues from an oblique perspective.
