At its annual organizational meeting on December 10, the College’s Board of Trustees selected the officers who will serve during the 2026 calendar year. The College proudly congratulates the Trustees on their new roles:
- Rosaelva Lomeli (Trustee Area 3) – President
- Yarisma Rocha (Trustee Area 2) – Vice President
- Kristal Orozco (Trustee Area 4) – Clerk
- Anais Medina Diaz (Trustee Area 1) – Member
- Oscar Valladares (Trustee Area 5) – Member
The Board’s renewed leadership team reflects a continued commitment to supporting student success, equity and educational excellence at Río Hondo College.
Working closely with Superintendent/President Teresa Dreyfuss, the Board provides direction that helps the College advance key institutional priorities and ensure students have the resources and opportunities they need to thrive.
Transforming Campus Facilities Through Measure RH
The Board also plays a vital role in overseeing Measure RH, the voter-approved bond that is modernizing and transforming campus facilities. Measure RH projects, including new academic spaces, upgraded infrastructure and enhanced student-centered buildings, are creating state-of-the-art environments designed to elevate learning and expand access to high-quality educational opportunities.
