Goat Grazing – Meet & Greet

Come meet Río Hondo College’s grazing crew!
Get up close with the goats helping manage vegetation on campus as part of the College’s fire-prevention efforts.
Meet. Pet. Feed. Learn.
Stop by to pet and feed the goats and learn how grazing helps reduce vegetation and potential fire hazards around campus. A Fire Grazers representative will be available to answer questions and share more about the goats and the work they do.
Things to Know Before You Visit:
- Parking available in Lot C and Lot J.
- Children are welcome and must be supervised.
- Please do not bring dogs or other animals
into the event area. - Please do not chase, scare or intentionally
disturb the goats. - Alfalfa will be provided for feeding the goats.
- Handwashing is recommended after petting
or feeding the goats.
