Student Health
Student Health helps keep students physically and emotionally healthy so they can perform at their best. Professionals available include a Nurse Practitioner, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists, therapist trainees, and clerical support staff. The licensed professionals evaluate and treat minor, temporary physical and emotional conditions that require short term care.
Who we serve:
All currently enrolled students who have paid their health fee (per semester) are eligible to receive services.
Things to know:

- Appointments required for vaccines
- To make an appointment call ViaCare at (323) 268-9191 or stop by our office on a Tuesday or Wednesday.
- Enrollment is verified at each visit
- Río Hondo Student Identification (I.D) card must be presented at each visit
- If you need to cancel your appointment please call at least 24 hours in advance.
- If running late, please call our office to notify us.
The Student Health Center offers:
- First aid care for accidents and other emergencies, condoms, over-the-counter medications available for minor illnesses, tampons and pads
- Opioid Prevention Program
- Spiked Drink Drug Test Kits
- TB Risk Assessments for Staff
