LEGACIE+ is a Male Success Initiative for traditional and non-traditional students who identify as Latino, other Men of Color (MOC), or those who self-identify as men. Students who join LEGACIE+ will benefit from counselor support, transfer assistance, mentorship, networking opportunities, special field trips, conferences, and much more!

Mission Statement

LEGACIE+ serves Rio Hondo College men of color students by building community and personal growth through academic support, professional development, and mentorship. LEGACIE+ increases matriculation, retention, transfer, and graduation rates by addressing systemic barriers.

As part of this statewide coalition, we advance MOCAN’s mission to strengthen outcomes for men of color through mentorship, academic support, leadership development, and community empowerment.
