The Computer Systems Degree prepares students for employment as computer specialists in business related programming computer applications. This degree also prepares students for transfer to a four-year college or university to major in information systems management, systems analysts, or computer science.

Associate of Science in Computer Systems

This curriculum is designed to prepare students for employment in computer applications with emphasis in programming language C++, Java, or Python. To acquire the Associate of Science Degree in Computer Information Technology/Computer Systems, students must complete the required major courses below with a grade of “C” or better along with one of the following: Rio Hondo College General Education and Proficiency requirements, California State University General Education Breadth (CSU GE), or Intersegmental General Education Transfer Curriculum (IGETC).
