Counseling is available to all students interested in planning a career in any Division of Career and Workforce Education program.

These programs include: Architecture, Automation, Automotive Technology (including Alternative Fuels and Electric Vehicles, and Honda PACT), Alternative Energy Technology, Electrical Technology, Electronics Technology, Heavy Equipment Technology, Civil Design Technology, Engineering Technology, Geographic Information Systems, Hospitality Management and Welding.

These counselors are funded under Title 1C Perkins and Strong Workforce Funded Grants.

Dear Río Hondo College Community,

Río Hondo College plans to restore student access to Canvas and related systems on Sunday, May 10, around 8 a.m. The College is also working closely with faculty to support flexibility for students regarding assignments and exams during this time.

Canvas is currently inaccessible due to an ongoing issue affecting Instructure, the parent company of Canvas. Out of an abundance of caution, access to Canvas has been temporarily suspended while the situation is being addressed.

Students and employees are advised to:

Avoid attempting to log into Canvas until further notice.

Do NOT download or open any file if prompted after navigating to the Canvas login page.

Río Hondo College is actively monitoring the situation and working closely with Instructure to receive updates and support instructional continuity. Dear Río Hondo College Community,

We are pleased to report that the water main break has been repaired and water service has been fully restored to our main campus.
