Before you begin your application, please have the following items ready.

  • Your Río Hondo Student ID 9 Digit number
  • Working email address
  • California ID or California driver’s license
  • Valid Social Security card or Individual taxpayer Identification card that is signed and not laminated

The name on all identifications must match. (NO EXCEPTIONS)

The Fall 2026 application period opens on Monday, June 1, 2026, and closes on Friday, June 26, 2026, at 4 P.M.

    Should you the applicant be admitted into the program, you will be required to provide copies of the following via Castlebranch. Health Science and Nursing Physical, Titers for all MMR’s, Varicella, Hepatitis B indicating negative test. 2 step TB skin test, current seasonal flu shot, Tdap COVID injections/booster and a current BLS CPR card. Students are required to purchase a casting kit for the program.

    Application to the Orthopedic Technology program does not guarantee admissions into the program.
