What are the requirements for the GO RÍO program?
In order to qualify for GO RÍO a student must:
- Be a registered student at Río Hondo College
- Fill out an online survey on the Access Río portal. This is for first-time users only.
After completing these steps, students must visit the Admissions and Records Office Photo ID window to receive a U-PASS sticker that will be affixed to their Photo ID. This will serve as the current semester’s bus pass.

How much is the GO RÍO transit fee?
Río Hondo College students pay a $15.00 transit fee per semester.

Where can I pick up a U-PASS sticker?
U-Pass stickers are available at the Admissions and Records Photo ID window located just outside of SS-120.

What bus companies/transit agencies honor the GO RÍO U-PASS?
The GO RÍO U-PASS can be used on:

Can I use the GO RÍO U-PASS anytime or is it only valid for travel to and from RHC?
The GO RÍO U-PASS is valid anytime during regular operating hours (including weekends) and can be used for travel needs such as school, work, or leisure.

How do I replace a lost GO RÍO U-PASS sticker?
Students who have lost a GO RÍO U-PASS sticker can request a new sticker at the Photo ID window. The replacement fee is $10.00 plus a $5.00 ID card replacement fee. This can be paid at the Cashier’s window.
