The Science of Success
Río Hondo’s Nutrition and Dietetics Area of Study is your first step toward a career in nutrition. Expert instructors will teach you the fundamentals of organic chemistry, microbiology, and food science.
Students get hands-on experience in our state-of-the-art science labs. You’ll study human anatomy and physiology and learn how genetics affect nutrition and wellness. A couple of the lower-division nutrition classes are even offered in the evening to allow for more flexible scheduling.
