Admission Requirements

The information provided in this section does not replace the counseling process. Students must meet with a counselor frequently to ensure proper selection of courses.

Admission Pathways 

1. Entering as a Sophomore:

Designed for students that have completed all of the transportation related courses (35 units or more) at California Community Colleges or at a regionally accredited institution of higher education and are missing 12 units or less of CSU GE/IGETC courses.

Applicants must have completed the following requirements:

  • 32-35 units or more of transportation related courses from a regionally accredited institution
  • Must have completed transferable level math
  • Must have completed transferable level English
  • Must have completed transferable level critical thinking course
  • Completed 30 or more general education courses CSU GE/IGETC
  • Transportation related courses must be completed with a C or higher
  • 2.0 or above GPA

2.  Entering as a Junior: 

Designed for students that have completed all of the transportation related courses (35 units or more) at California Community Colleges or at a regionally accredited institution of higher education and have completed the general education requirements from CSU GE/IGETC).

Applicants must have completed the following requirements prior to applying:

  • CSU or IGETC General Education Pattern
  • Must include transferable level math
  • Must include transferable level English
  • Completion of 32-35 units or more in transportation related courses
  • Transportation related courses must be completed with a C or higher
  • 2.0 or above GPA
