Q: How many hours am I allowed to work?
A: Students are allowed to work up to 20 hours per week and may not be scheduled during class time.
Q: Am I allowed to participate in other work programs (i.e. Federal Work-Study, CalWorks, etc.) at the same time?
A: No, students may not concurrently work in two work programs.
Q: How will I know if I qualify for LAEP?
A: Students must demonstrate financial need and meet all the qualification listed in Student Eligibility Requirements. Students who meet the requirements may complete the LAEP employment application found in College Central Network. After you complete the LAEP interest form, you will be notified of your eligibility and of opportunities that become available.
Q: Where do I find LAEP employment opportunities?
A: You will be notified by the financial aid office if/when a position that matches your major/career becomes available.

Q: Are FAFSA and CADAA (Dreamers) students eligible to participate?
A: Yes. Both financial aid applicants are eligible. Students must be able to provide employment documentation.
