Students can make appointments to pick up the Fall 2021 GO RIO pass at the Admissions and Records Photo ID window on the following dates and times:
September 22 through October 14: Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9am to 4:45pm.
October 18 through October 21: Monday through Thursday from 9am to 4:45pm.
October 27 (Wednesday) and October 28 (Thursday) from 9am to 4:45pm.
NOTE: The Photo ID window will remain closed on Fridays from now until the end of Fall 2021 until further noticed.
Students can visit the appointment link on the AccessRio Portal. Students can use the link to make an appointment for a Student ID even if students do not plan to obtain a GO RIO pass. First time users must take the GO RIO online survey prior to obtaining the GO RIO U-pass (found on Finances tab of your Access Rio).
This semester, a few changes have been made to the GO RIO program to expand GO RIO to a wider group of students.
- First, the GO RIO pass will be free since the all-student transit fee has been waived for the Fall 2021 semester.
- Second, all enrolled credit students–regardless of unit number–will be eligible for the GO RIO bus pass. Students just need to remain enrolled to maintain eligibility.
- Third, all students enrolled in non-credit classes will be eligible for the GO RIO bus pass. Students just need to remain enrolled to maintain eligibility.
- Fourth, any students who report a lost or stolen pass from a previous semester can request a replacement pass at no charge.
Please note that each of the above changes have been made for the Fall 2021 semester only. If needed you may visit the Admissions and Records Photo ID window to verify that your U-Pass sticker is operational for the semester.
