**Applicants must provide a valid copy of California Drivers License or California Identification card, and a valid Social Security card that is signed and not laminated. The name on all identification MUST read the same or match. (NO EXCEPTIONS)
The Nursing Assistant Pre-Certification training course is designed for students who have expressed an interest in entry-level nursing. This course meets Title 22 regulations for taking care of the geriatric population in a long term care setting, utilizing the skills of basic care, emergency care, and communication. Students completing this course are eligible to take both the written and performance components of the State CNA test.
The Certified Nurse Assistant Acute Care course is designed for students who are Certified Nurse Assistants that wish to learn the basic nursing skills and duties in the acute care setting with additional emphasis on the areas of medical/surgical, orthopedic, pediatric, and obstetric care. Students who successfully complete the course will earn a Career Certificate.
The Home Health Aide course is designed for the students who are Certified Nurse Assistants that wish to learn how to provide personal care in the home care setting for clients who are unable to care for themselves, and/or promote the recovery, safety, and comfort of a client. Additional emphasis on rehabilitative nursing care, family relationships, and the impact of long-term illness on the family as well as the client is provided. Students who successfully complete the course will earn a Career Certificate.

Please submit application with an attached copy of a California issued photo I.D. and an attached copy of a valid, non-laminated Social Security Card. Incomplete applications will be automatically disqualified. Class seats are filled for each course on a first-come, first-serve basis as applications are received.
