WHAT: Río Hondo College will host a ribbon cutting during a grand opening celebration for the institution’s first Pride Center. The center will serve as an inclusive space where students who identify as LGBTQIA+ can go for support resources and gather in community.

DETAILS: Media and the entire Río Hondo College campus community are invited to tour the new Pride Center and learn about well-being resources and ways individuals can serve as informed allies during the grand opening celebration.
Pride-themed activities will be available to attendees in the upper-quad grass area and free cupcakes and refreshments will be provided during the festivities.
