Welcome to Río Hondo’s Health Science and Nursing Program. We invite you to apply to join our program. Please note that all correspondence will go through the email address you have provided.

Before you begin your application, please have the following items ready.

Your Río Hondo Student ID 9 Digit number
Working email address
California ID or California driver’s license
Valid Social Security card or Individual taxpayer Identification card that is signed and not laminated

The name on all identifications must match. (NO EXCEPTIONS)

The Fall 2026 application period opens on Monday, June 1, 2026, and closes on Friday, June 26, 2026, at 4 P.M.

Notice of Public Hearings

Dear Río Hondo College Community,

The Banner system is currently unavailable due to an unexpected database server infrastructure issue. Our Information Technology Services team is actively working with our infrastructure partners to restore service as quickly as possible.

During this time, access to Banner, Self Service, and related systems may be intermittently unavailable. We will provide an update as soon as service is restored or if additional information becomes available.

Dear Río Hondo College Community,

We are pleased to report that the water main break has been repaired and water service has been fully restored to our main campus. All in-person classes and on-campus activities will resume as scheduled effective Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at 6:00 a.m. We appreciate the Rio team and our partners at the San Gabriel Valley Water Co. for their tremendous work.
