Beginning in Spring 2026, Río Hondo College will offer students even more ways to achieve their academic and career goals with the launch of fully online degree and certificate programs and new accelerated 4-week courses designed for busy adults who need flexibility without sacrificing quality.

In addition to fully online programs, the College is introducing an innovative Accelerated Classes Program, allowing students to focus on one course at a time through short 4-week, fully online, asynchronous classes. This fast-paced structure offers the flexibility to complete courses more quickly while maintaining the same academic rigor. For those who have already gained valuable experience in the workplace, military or through professional training, the College’s Credit for Prior Learning (CPL) program provides an opportunity to turn that experience into college credit.
