WHITTIER, Calif. — Dreaming of a career in law? Whether you're in high school, attending community college or preparing for law school, Río Hondo College invites you to explore the possibilities at Journey to JD: Law School Fair, scheduled for Nov. 8, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The event will bring together representatives from nearly 50 law schools, providing high school students, college students and aspiring legal professionals an opportunity to explore educational pathways, connect with admissions representatives and learn what it takes to pursue a career in law.
Attendees can ask questions about law school admissions, LSAT preparation, academic requirements and the steps they can take now to prepare for their future. For high school students, the event offers an early introduction to the legal profession and an opportunity to discover how their educational journey can begin at a community college.
Law schools are also invited to participate! Institutions interested in connecting with the next generation of legal professionals are encouraged to register for a table, showcase their programs and share information about admissions and career opportunities.
Whether you're just beginning to consider a career in law or preparing to apply to law school, Journey to JD is an opportunity to make connections, gain insight and take the next step toward your goals.
Students and prospective attendees are encouraged to RSVP, and law schools can register to reserve their tables.
