Psychiatric Technician to Associate Degree Nursing Program
The Psychiatric-Technician to Associate Degree Nursing Program is a program designed to prepare the Psych Tech for employment as a Registered Nurse, providing direct care to patients. Program length is dependent upon result of ADN 151 / ADN 151L challenge. Graduates earn an Associate of Science Degree in Nursing, and are qualified to take the NCLEX-RN examination leading to licensure as a Registered Nurse. The program is approved by the California State Board of Registered Nursing
Applicants who are interested in the Nursing Programs should attend a Nursing Information Session to discuss prerequisites, general education requirements, assessment tests, and the application/selection process. Applicants may also make an appointment with the Counseling Department at 562-908-3410 to discuss individual situations.

There is one application filing period each year:
September 1 – September 17, 2021, Spring 2022 Start
(Due to COVID-19, we will not be accepting applications in person. You are to submit your application to the Health Science and Nursing office via mail.)
