SASSFA-Southeast Area Social Services Funding
SASSFA provides a variety of services for job seekers and unemployed persons and youth. This includes employment services and training and job placement. We target youth (summer youth employment and year-round employment services). Also, low-income adult, dislocated workers and veterans. The California Community Colleges Registry is a large scale database containing the names, qualifications and desired position(s) of potential California Community College faculty, support staff and management job applicants. The database is utilized by the 72 Human Resources offices, representing the 112 California Community Colleges. This web site provides a number of services for individuals seeking employment as a faculty, support staff or manager at a California Community College. Currently, there are 1238 open jobs in the CCC Registry. The California Community Colleges is the largest higher education system in the nation. It is comprised of 72 districts, 112 colleges and enrolls more than 2.6 million students. Chrysalis is a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating a pathway to self-sufficiency for homeless and low-income individuals by providing the resources and support needed to find and retain employment.
