The Career and Workforce Education (CWE) Division, in partnership with the Los Angeles Regional Consortium, hosted the 2026 Electric Vehicle Summit focused on strengthening collaboration across education, workforce development and industry within the electric vehicle and clean mobility sectors.
The event featured remarks from local legislators and community leaders, along with participation from more than 10 green technology industry representatives leading innovation in electric vehicle transportation.
Attendees also learned from the Temple City High School RacerX2 EV Team, whose students shared their inspiring electric vehicle project and video presentation. Breakout sessions included workshops led by industry professionals and faculty from the Alternative Fuels and Geographic Information Systems programs.
The summit concluded with a Green Technology Transportation Expo showcasing emerging technologies and career opportunities in the growing clean mobility industry.
