Transfer admission timelines vary by institution and term, with application cycles available throughout the year for Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall admission. Each university may have different application deadlines, admission requirements, and supplemental materials, so it is important to plan ahead and stay informed.

Río Hondo College Bachelor’s Programs

Río Hondo College offers bachelor’s degree programs that provide advanced, career-focused education in high-demand fields. Through hands-on learning and industry-relevant training, students can prepare for professional opportunities in areas such as Automotive Technology and Electronic Digital Instrument Performance and Production.

Apply to any of the 22 campuses at www.calstate.edu/apply.

To be accepted for the:Your application must be received:
FALL semester or quarterOctober 1 through November 30 the previous year.
SPRING semester*July 1 through August 31 the previous year.
(July 1 through July 31 starting in 2027)

* Some campuses do not accept mid-year applicants. See open campuses and majors on Cal State Apply during the application periods listed above.

Many private universities, out-of-state institutions, and several HBCUs use the Common Application (Common App), a centralized online platform that allows students to apply to multiple colleges with a single application. While application requirements and deadlines vary by institution, the Common App can simplify the transfer process by providing one location to submit academic information, essays, and supporting documents.
