Loan Application Processing Deadlines

Online Loan Workshops will be available January 31st, 2025

All loan documentation and applications should be completed and submitted to the office of Financial Aid no later than:

March 13, 2025 and May 1, 2025

Deadline to receive March 13, 2025 disbursement February 21, 2025 by 2:00pm

Last day to submit Loan Applications for 2024/2025

March 7, 2025 by 2:00pm

Processing time is approximately 4 to 5 weeks after all requested loan documents are
received and your financial aid file has been reviewed and finalized.

Late documents WILL NOT be processed. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Situational Awareness Update

Dear Rio Hondo College Community:

The college and its educational centers continue to remain calm and open today, Friday January 10th and classes and services will resume. The current AQMD Index for Rio Hondo College is 116, the lower range of unhealthy for sensitive groups. We have N95 masks available for any student or staff who would like to pick up at our Campus Police and Safety Office, A-Building, Room 113. We will continue to vigilantly monitor. Again, we ask for grace, compassion and understanding to those who have been impacted by the fires.
